Jamey Collins

Coach Collins is in his 14th year at the helm of the Coffman boys basketball program. His previous years have been successful as the Shamrocks have averaged 17 wins per season and have made 9 appearances in the district championship game.

Prior to taking the head coaching position at Coffman, Jamey was the head coach at Ridgedale High School in Marion County. His record was 70-24, including an undefeated season in 2001.

Coach Collins career thus far has been well-decorarted, including the following honors:

  • Coach: Ohio North - South All-Star game
  • Coach: Ohio - Kentucky All-Star game
  • 2010 - 2011 OCC Central Coach of the Year 

Jamey graduated from Bellefontaine High School where he played for his father, OHSBCA hall of fame coach Will Collins. He then graduated from Bowling Green State University with a double major in mathematics and computer science. Jamey teaches math and computer programming at Coffman High School.

Jamey resides in Dublin with wife Danielle and their 2 children.
